How does SSO get the current user

Hi,

I am currently working at a small business (<150 users) and we are using sonicwall with SSO authentication.

I'm trying to figure out, how does the SonicWall see who is currently logged on the computer.

I'm trying to figure this out, as i'm having a weird issue, that whenever i run a program on a users computer with run as permissions, SSO recognizes the admin account as the current logged user, instead of the correct user.
