Administrative privilege required to log in here - VPN

I am having the hardest time configuring an older TZ210 for administration through VPN (Sonicwall Mobile Connect on a Mac).

I get the following:

"Note that you are currently logged in to the SonicWall as a SSL VPN client user and login here is only allowed for management of the appliance. Since you do not have the privilege for that, please re-connect using an account with administrative privilege."

I have followed the Scenario 1 on the Sonicwall KBSto no avail. I created a user with Full Admin privileges, part of the "trusted users" and the one I use to log on through the VPN, but when I try to access the admin console through https:// IP I get the above error.

I have to resort to providing management access via WAN, which I would prefer to turn off and just allow it through VPN.
