So for the past 6 months we've been having this issue. I see the same pattern of a udp packet being dropped. dns packet allowed icmp packet dropped and then broadcast packet dropped. I see the pattern over and over again with different ip addresses everytime. They have a CRM database that is 1.5 terabytes as well. We are also dealing with a customer who is not telling us everything so we are constantly finding things that was "left out" over and over again.
After these events or during these events I found that the WAN interface becomes unresponsive and locks up. There are no large file transfers (that we see at this time) and can't narrow down why the sonicwall interface keeps locking up.
