I Have a Sonicwall TZ 105that I have been try to do so port forwarding on. To a PPTP Server (Yes I know it's not the best VPN. But they wanted something quick and easy. Which these has now not been!).
I have setup the NAT (and followed many tutorials and read the same thing 50 times). It is setup as follow.
Source Original Any Translated Original
Destination Original WAN Primary IP Translated TPL-VPN (IP object for the VPN server which is a windows 2008 R2)
Service Original PPTP (Port 1723) Translated Original
Interface inbound X1 (I have also tried as Any but it shouldn't make a diffrence) Outbound Any
there is also a reverse of this NAT.
I have setup the firewall rule to. as follows
WAN LAN Source Any Destination TPL-VPN Service PPTP Action Allow Users All
I have also checked the preserve IKE port for pass...
