Going out of my mind here trying to figure out what is causing RDP connections dropping.
Here’s the infrastructure:
Spectrum 100x100 fiber internet
Windows Server 2012 R2 DC
SonicWall firewall TZ500
SonicWall SMA 410 serving up NetExtender SSLVPN connections
40 Windows 10 Pro desktops running version 1809
Here’s the scenario/issue:
We have about 40 people connecting in from home after the company implemented a BYOD policy to enable working remotely.
They sign in to NetExtender and get a VPN IP from the SSLVPN IP Pool after authenticating with their windows credentials.
They then launch RDP and connect to their workstation at the office using its static LAN IP address.
The problem is we have a few people that are experiencing persistent RDP connection drops, lags and freezes and I cannot seem to determine what the problem is.
