Asking for some help with getting my VoIP phone working through the SonicWall. There is only one phone that will be used outside the office. I have a basic understanding of SonicWall.
I have a Panasonic KX-NS700 PBX (latest firmware) and am using Panasonic KX-NT543 VoIP phones. I have a SonicWall TZ500 running SonicOS Enhanced 6.5.4.4-44n. Phone VLAN has a route to the Internet. Internet connection is fiber with 10 Mbps up and 50 Mbps down.
Our phone system provider states the phones can be configured to work outside the LAN, they have several customers who are using the phones at home connecting to their work LAN with no issues. I have a phone configured by the provider to work outside the LAN. The provider has never set these up with a SonicWall before and can not give first had knowledge on this.
