I recently purchased Sonicwall for my home network that runs wired and wireless clients (iphones, printer, pc, tv, switch, server...)
X0 - my LAN (static IP: 192.168.1.1/ 255.255.255.0 );
X1 - ISP (DHCP)
X2 - unused (PortShield to X0);
X3 - my QNAP RAID5 server (PortShield to X0);
X4 - my Smart TV (PortShield to X0);
W0 - my wireless network (static IP: 172.16.31.1/ 255.255.255.0 )
So far my wired network works the way I need: I am able to access QNAP server from any wired devices, can print to Canon wired printer, Smart TV access QNAP server to play multimedia, the QNAP runs backup to Google Drive, all devices (wired and wireless) have Internet access. I set up WOL and Remote desktop that works perfectly as well.
The only problem I am unable to figure out is how to bridge LAN and WLAN! I cannot print to wired printer from wireless...
